The California Alliance for Arts Education is pleased to offer the opportunity for each LAN Coordinator statewide to come together to share success stories and challenges, receive professional development and build a stronger statewide network. This retreat is made possible with generous support from The Boeing Company.

September 13 – 14, 2012, Marconi Conference Center
The 62-acre Marconi Conference Center State Historic Park in scenic West Marin County is located along the east shore of Tomales Bay about one-hour north of San Francisco. The location provides dramatic views of the bay and the lush inland hills of the Point Reyes Peninsula in Northern California.

The goals of this retreat are to bring together the variety of experience around this work, from experienced to new leaders, to share both successful strategies and the challenges of this work, to present new ideas for community engagement and to strengthen the bonds of our statewide network sharing common goals and locally driven outcomes. We look forward to your participation in this event.

Please Make Your Flight Reservations Now
In order to ensure the best rates, we ask that you make your flight reservations now coming into the Oakland Airport arriving prior to 10 a.m. on Thursday and departing after 4pm on Friday. This will allow you time to drive to/from the retreat center (1.5 hours), check in and have lunch before the start time of 1 p.m. Please notify Laura Bennett, Retreat Coordinator of your arrival time so we can also coordinate rental car groups. A detailed agenda will be available closer to the retreat.
