Project Origins
The Insider’s Guide to Arts Education Planning evolved from the Community Arts Education Project, a planning process and publication jointly developed by the California State PTA and the California Alliance for Arts Education in 2001. The first edition of the Insider’s Guide was published online in 2006, and we extend our gratitude to the many contributors and advisors who supported the original publication.
