The Equitable Access to Arts Learning for Students (EquAALS) project involves a 3-hour PD designed to support students with disabilities(SWD) in ELA through arts integration. The PD will be offered approximately 22 times. Participating teachers share pre and post test scores of SWD. Participating teachers continue to collaborate after the PD through online chats. Participating teachers receive a kit of materials to deploy arts integration strategies in their classroom. The kit contains hardware, art supplies, and art curriculum. Participating teachers also receive a stipend. The project will reach 500 teachers.
