We recognize that our community has a deep appreciation for the arts and deep history of arts education advocacy initiatives. We intend to embrace and build upon the great work that has already been done, and carry it forward into a sustainable county-wide commitment.

The goal of our Alliance is to empower local community members to preserve and expand arts education in Santa Cruz County public schools through a strong network that will represent a cross section of community interests, including business, community, parent, education and arts organizations. Our united message will convey that an investment in arts education is an investment in the well-being of the larger community.
