The Insider's Guide to Arts Education
CAAE’s Insider’s Guide is both a guidebook and a hands-on
technical assistance process that enables districts to assess current
arts learning programs and funding allocations, identify gaps in delivery,
and create long range plans that will ensure equitable access for all
students in each of the four arts disciplines. The Insiders Guide to
Arts Education Planning offersfield-tested best practices, innovative
ideas, templates and strategies as aguide to navigate the sometimes challenging

Community Arts
Education Project
The Community Arts Education Project is designed to help
parents, local schools and school districts to work together to determine
the current status of arts education. It will help provide communities
with accurate information about arts education and enable parents to advocate
for quality arts programs in their schools. (Go to

Creative Ticket Awards
The Creative Ticket Awards, administered at the state level
by the California Alliance for Arts Education (CAAE) and at the national
level by the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network (KCAAEN),
honors schools that have done an outstanding job of making the arts essential

The Kennedy Center/National
Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Institute
The Kennedy Center/National Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Institute
is a 4-week summer music program at the John F. Kennedy Center for the
performing Arts in Washington, DC, for student instrumentalists. The program

Emerging Young Artist Awards
The Emerging Young Artist Awards (EYAA) enables talented young
Californians to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists
through financial support. The EYAA opens doors by providing up to $5,000
per year for four years ($20,000) to talented young artists while enrolled
in a college/university degree program or professional training program
